INTRODUCE LANGUAGE AND CONTENT

St. Valentine's story: Storytelling activity using objects and pictures. We engage students by inviting them to predict and using drama, drills, open and close questions...

Think, pair and write: In pairs they write down the story. Then swap their work with the partner in front of them and add information. The idea is to learn from each other.

ACTIVITIES TO PRACTICE LANGUAGE AND REVISE CONTENT

Ball game: We stick post-its in a football ball. The students pass the ball taking turn and answer the questions.

Magic messages: In groups they think of key vocabulary and useful structures and we write them down on the board. Then we distribute the words and make magic messages on card hearts. They write with a white crayon and cover it with paint of different colors. We wait some seconds and the message will magically appear. We can display children's work.
